Zagazig University, EgyptJournal Article20220524The research aims to take advantage of the method of teaching by <br />mental maps to train the students to create designs that are<br />distinguished by originality and modernity by combining the <br />decorations of the Jizani heritage and Islamic art to improve the<br />aesthetics of the designs of the furniture of tourist villages, in <br />addition to educating officials of hotels and tourist villages on the<br />importance of using furniture of an Islamic heritage characterized<br />by originality and contemporary On heritage and its transmission <br />between different societies, and the research sample consisted of <br />two groups of students for the graduation project decision (five <br />students for each group, one of them an experimental group and <br />the other its control, as each group created ten designs using<br />Ramsete, and Photoshop was used to employ the designs. The<br />researcher has prepared a questionnaire form to find out the<br />opinions of specialists, pioneers and officials of tourist villages<br />on the proposed designs, and the research follows both the<br />descriptive and experimental analytical approach,and the researcher concluded that there are no statistically <br />significant differences between the mean scores of the students in <br />the control group and the experimental group Concerning the <br />axes of the design questionnaire in medicine The pre-study, while<br />there are statistically significant differences between the mean<br />scores of the students in the experimental group in the pre and <br />post application in terms of the effectiveness of using the mental <br />maps strategy in favor of the post application, and there are also <br />statistically significant differences between the mean scores of <br />the students in the control group in the pre and post application in <br />favor of the post application.
